Julie A. D'Arcy was born in Bendigo, Australia in 1957.
In her formative years she lived in Sunshine, Melbourne, until settling in North East Victoria. At school she enjoyed writing from an early age and often had articles published in school magazines but never dreamt she would become an author of almost twenty years. She attended Caulfield Institute of Technology, Victoria, where I she studied Art and Design, majoring in Ceramic Art (Now Monash University).
After leaving college she returned to Wangaratta, where she set up her own pottery business specializing in fantasy pottery, in which she still dabbles.
She married and had two daughters, Errin and Tegan, but has since divorced. She now lives with her life partner Philip and their spoiled Tonkanese cat Jessalyn.
Julie began writing her first novel in 1994. She is a great believer of the Celtic religion and loves anything Celtic. Most of her books reflect a small amount of these beliefs.
Julie is an author of seven full length novels, and three novellas, and a short story, with two more works in progress. Her genres include Fantasy, Fantasy romance, Urban Fantasy, Paranormal, Ghost, Witch, Vampire romance and Erotica Romance and a M/M Romance.
Julie's first published novel WON the 1999 Dorothy Parker RIO Award for Women's fiction. And the same novel and her second were nominated and shortlisted in several other prestigious Awards, including the Australian RWA R*uby Award, the U.S.A. PEARL AWARD and SAPPHIRE AWARDS.
She has written for publishers such as ImaJinn books, Mundania Press, Moongypsy Press, Eternal Press, Noble Romance Publishing LLC, Secret Cravings Publishing, and is now writing for I Heart Book Publishing, LLC and Indi publishing.
