About the author:
I do not profess to being an author, writer or literati. I am merely a Storyteller who uses words to tell stories. They unfold as movies in my imagination and I then have to transfer them to the printed word. I've now written ten books. (True Fire 2&3 to be published soon)
My first story, 'The Final Song', which was placed on Free-eBooks and other sites in 2008, has so far been downloaded free over 25,000 times. It was written out longhand and typed up on a portable typewriter in 2003.
Thankfully, I found computers after that.
'Diary of a Serial Killer' attracted over 100,000 readers when it was free.
Storytelling, for me, doesn't involve mapping everything out before I start, as often the story evolves in the telling. I begin with however much mental movie I have then add to the story as the next part is revealed.
I cannot afford to spend money having my stories edited, corrected, modified or formatted. I do most of it myself and also make up my own book covers.
As to me, the years tick by, life is interesting and constantly throws up challenges. I finished building the house I lived in, from the ground up, in 2011 (cheaper than buying one) but I'm not a proper builder (don't have the magic 'ticket'). Since then I 'ran away' from home.
I went to Uni in my thirties as an adult student and a few years ago tried my hand at driving boats as a Tour Guide. However, I've had over forty different occupations so far in my life, from farm laboring to professional positions.
My two children are grown up and have their own partners now.
As the little cat on Word says, "Don't run with scissors in hand."
True Fire Book 2. The Fall of Belvedere
B. Cameron Lee
In the second volume of True Fire, the Empress Martine, with the assistance of a Q'Herindam Dark Mage, makes a concerted attempt to take the city of Belvedere in Southland and rule in Dominion over all the lands. As her horde streams through the gates into Belvedere, her success is almost guaranteed, only she has overlooked Arwhon and the shadowy being within him.
With his Shield and Servant, Arwhon fights Martine in unexpected ways, using strategy which flows into his head unasked for and always seems to be the correct way to go.
Many more characters are introduced into the unfolding story of Arwhon's geas as the lands and the people in them are brought to life.
