About the author:
Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey, who was born on November 24, 1951, in Jamaica, Queens, New York, received a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Saint Saint's Univeristy, Jamaica New York, on January 31, 1973, a Master of Arts degree from the Univeristy of Notre Dame, Notre Dame, Indiana, on January 10, 1974, and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in political science from the State University of New York at Albany, Albany, New York, on August 5, 1977. Droleskey also studied theology at Mount Saint Mary's Seminary, Emittsburg, Maryland, and at Holy Apostles Seminary, Cromwell, Connecticut. Droleskey taught as a full-time and part-time faculty member at numerous colleges and universities between January of 1974 and October of 2014. Formerly a pro-life activist and candidate for public office, Dr. Droleskey was nominated by the Right to Life Party of the State of New York as its candidate for lieutenant governor in 1986 and as its candidate for Supervisor of the Town of Oyster Bay, New York in 1987. Droleskey was asked by some Right to Life Party members to challenge incumbent United States Senator Alphose M. D'Amato for the party's senatorial nomination in 1998, receiving enough delegate votes to qualify for a primary, which he lost to D'Amato after garnering over thirty-seven percent of the primary vote on September 14, 1998. He also served as a volunteer surrogate speaker for presidential candidate Patrick Joseph Buchanan from December of 1995 through March of 1996. Committed to the restoration of the Social Reign of Christ the King and of His Most Blessed Mother, she who is Our Immaculate Queen, hundreds of Drolesky's articles appeared in The Wanderer (1992-2001) and later The Remnant (2002-2006) and Catholic Family News (2004-2006). A few of his articles appeared in Celebrate Life and The Latin Mass: A Journal of Catholic Culture. This writing led to numerous invitations to speak to groups of Catholics across the nation in the 1990s into the latter part of the first decade of the Twenty-first Century. Droleskey's online publication,, is the continuation of a printed journal that began in September 1996 and continued until June of 2003. Over two thousand articles have appeared online since the debut of the website on February 20, 2004. Married since June 7, 2001, to the former Sharon Collins, Droleskey and his wife live with their daughter, Lucy Mary Therese Norma, who was born on March 27, 2002, within the United States of America.
