About the author:
J.P. Osterman is a science fiction author with twelve published novels. She was one of five finalists for the Patrick D. Smith Literary Award, and she won the prestigious Rupert Hughes Award at the Maui Writers' Conference for her novel, The Matter Stream, the only Sci-Fi book ever to win the award. She transformed The Matter Stream into her Nelta series: First Communication, Battlefield Matrix, and Astrocity Sagan. Her one-act play, The Man Next to Me, won First Place at the Southern California Writers' Conference. J.P. expanded the play into a sci-fi novel, Pete's Crossroad. Thirty years in the making, she recently compiled and released an anthology of her short stories entitled: Commuter Collection: Short Stories from the Edge. Her sci-fi, action-adventure, short story collection, Pareidolia, explores futuristic alien worlds, enhanced computer technology, and space travel. Her sci-fi novel, Cosmic Rift, investigates Mars, artificial intelligence, space-folding, and rocket engine technology. She also authored The Screaming Stone, Corporate Revenge, God Designed: 366 Days of Inspiration, and Suddenly Gone! Grief to Healing. J.P. completed her bachelor's degree in English (Emphasis in Writing) from the University of San Diego, and she received her Master's Degree in Education from Azusa Pacific University. She also delved into graduate psychology for two years at Texas State University. She is a member of the Space Coast Writers' Guild.
