Seeing Beyond Imperfections

Authored by Katie Russell, Julie Weeks

Children will love climbing into the passenger seat and going pickin' -- the adventure of learning how to see new uses for things that have been abandoned or thrown away.  Ride along with Sweet Ellie Mae, a 1950 GMC truck and Katie, an avid picker, as they take a road trip from garage sales to junk yards to find discarded items and make them beautiful and loved again.
