Food A Vehicle for Healing
(The Fruitful Journey) PT. 1
Bryce A Fluellen
Chef Bryce Fluellen's inaugural cookbook,
Food A Vehicle for Healing (the fruitful journey) pt. 1, is a tasteful blend of original recipes and inspiring personal stories
that illustrate the healing and connecting spirit of food. Through the art of storytelling Chef Bryce provides a transparent and vulnerable view into his world while gifting us with some of his favorite culinary delights. Each recipe is perfectly paired with an antidotal story, we see how taking a job in a kitchen for the homeless became his catalyst to finally being able to forgive a family member - we learn how he helped a 10-year-old with social anxiety realize the kitchen was her coping tool and gave her the strength to be an amazing public speaker.
Food: A Vehicle for Healing is beautifully designed with a great balance of vibrant food photography,
bold recipes, and strong characters with a through line reminding us that bumps in the road are often
the secret ingredient that add the most flavor!
"Food A Vehicle for Healing (the fruitful journey) pt. 1 will forever change the way you look at
food!" - Ashley Gibbons, Whole Foods Market
