Amy Ballard grew up in Maine, but now lives in southern Idaho with her husband and their three children. Her poems have appeared in Open Spaces Quarterly, Words-Myth, and the online GNU Journal. In her magazine and news articles, she expresses her interest in Idaho people and their stories.
