Gene has written many stories for children. His stories have appeared in several children's magazines including: Humpty Dumpty, Primary Treasure, Cricket, and Chickadee. His other publications include poetry chapbooks, short stories, daily reflections, and stories for middle-grade readers. He has three daughters and two grandchildren. Gene lives with his wife, Deborah, in the Pacific Northwest.

Jean likes to create art that makes her smile and happy when looked at it. It is meant to be colorful, fun, whimsical, unusual, and often a little off-beat. She spends her time doing acrylic painting, colored pencil artwork, and making handmade journals. Jean lives in Sequim with her husband, Rich, and their fun and adorable cats.
