Pulavar (poetess) Kothai is the first poetess in the history of Tamil Literature to have written a Sangam Tamil Epic, "Potruhil." She has written 15 other works in different genres in English and Tamil. Her works are mostly based on her paranormal experiences with the divine and evil. Her Birth name was Pramila Anthony Mary. Her legal name is "Kothai," the name of a Tamil Goddess. Her pen names were: Ann AriEl Wilson and Jannath Al-Firdhaws.
She chooses to stay away from the limelight.

This book is composed of 100 Archaic Sangam Tamil Songs written by Poetess Kothai, the first poetess in history to have written "Potruhil," a Perumkaappiyam (Greater Epic) in the Sangam Tamil language. A simple urai has been written by the poet herself for each poem. Her works are considered by scholars as a renaissance of Sangam Tamil Literature of the ancient Gondwana or Lemuria continent.
