Sean Bw Parker has performed with Ed Harcourt at Istanbul's Babylon club, John Robb's The Membranes at Indigo, with Turkish experimental rock group Replikas at Haymatlos, and at the Foca and Gazipasa rock festivals in 2010 and 2009 respectively. His music has been compared to Roxy Music, Pixies, The Velvet Underground, Devo, David Bowie and Talking Heads in various reviews and articles.
Parker was born in 1975 in Exeter, UK to Jeffrey Parker, a drama lecturer at Exeter University, and Anna Parker (nee West), a speech therapist. After his parents divorced in 1986, the family moved to Carmarthenshire, South Wales. He completed his masters degree in Fine Art at the University for the Creative Arts, Surrey in 2003, after which he moved to live and record in Istanbul, staying there for over a decade.
