MTV Networks to Use CreateSpace DVD on Demand Technology to Offer Exclusive Content on Amazon.com
Popular MTV, Nickelodeon, COMEDY CENTRAL and VH1 titles will now be available for sale on DVD for the first time for Amazon customers

Scotts Valley, Calif. – Aug. 25, 2008 – CreateSpace, part of the Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMZN) group of companies , today announced that MTV Networks will use CreateSpace DVD on Demand technology to make popular MTV, Nickelodeon, COMEDY CENTRAL and VH1 shows – including "Newport Harbor," "Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew," "Drake & Josh" and "Hey Arnold!" – available on Amazon.com.

All of these newly released DVDs will initially be available exclusively on Amazon.com, and today marks the first time that these titles have been available on DVD. Selected seasons of popular MTV reality shows that will be available on Amazon.com via CreateSpace DVD on Demand include "My Super Sweet 16," "Newport Harbor: The Real Orange County," "True Life," as well as VH1's "Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew." Also available on Amazon via CreateSpace DVD on Demand are compilations of some of the funniest stand-up comedy moments from "Comedy Central Presents."

Additionally, popular children's animated series and teen dramas from Nickelodeon that will be available include selected seasons of "Danny Phantom," "Jimmy Neutron," "Drake & Josh," "Zoey 101," "Ned's Declassified," "Unfabulous" and "South of Nowhere" from The N. Also available for the first time for sale on DVD will be shows from the Nick Rewind collection, including "Rocko's Modern Life," "Hey Arnold!" and "Doug."

With CreateSpace DVD on Demand, discs are manufactured soon after a customer orders them, providing content owners like Nickelodeon and MTV with a low-cost solution for offering their content without the costs and risks of physical inventory. All MTV, Nickelodeon and COMEDY CENTRAL titles manufactured on demand by CreateSpace include industry-standard Content Scramble System (CSS) copy protection.

Titles that are currently available on Amazon.com are "Drake & Josh – Best of Seasons 1-2", and the first seasons of "Hey Arnold!," "Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew" and "Newport Harbor: The Real Orange County." The additional titles being produced on-demand by CreateSpace are now available for pre-order on Amazon.com.
